EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 6, 2026
Privacy Policy
Effective November 6, 2026. Operator: the SI concierge sites (including Readystead), based in Austin, Texas, USA. No street address is published.
The Readystead service is offered at readystead.si and may also be offered at survivalnation.si. Both hostnames, if connected, show the same Readystead service.
Who we are
Readystead is one of the SI (“Super Intelligence”) shopping concierge sites. We help you find goods and link you to independent retailers. We do not sell products, take payments, or store card numbers. Checkout happens on each seller’s site. We are not Survival Nation or any other retailer, and we are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by them. Survival Nation’s official website is https://survivalnation.com/.
What we collect
- No accounts. You do not create a login.
- What you enter into the concierge — a budget; which needs matter (such as food, water, power, home security, camping, or communications); how you prefer to shop (kits or separate items); a shopping preference (balanced, lowest upfront, or higher-spec); how many people are in the household; and a planning horizon — is used only to build that plan in your browser. In this first version those answers stay in the page’s memory. We do not send them to our server, to a model provider, or to retailers. We do not create a household profile, and we do not use cookies, local storage, or session storage for these answers. Reloading or closing the page clears them. Your browser may temporarily keep form values as part of normal browser behavior. Please don’t type names, addresses, medical details, or other sensitive information into any field.
- Catalog search words you type on the page are filtered in your browser against our catalog. They are not sent to retailers unless you choose a “Shop at” link, which opens that store’s public search for the product name (not your household answers).
- Cloudflare hosts our static pages, scripts, illustrations, and catalog. Like other hosts, Cloudflare may process technical request details (such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested) under its own policies. This first version does not add your concierge answers to request paths.
- This first version has no user accounts, no email collection, no photo uploads, no photo try-on, no live language-model calls, and no advertising pixels that we have added.
Site analytics
This first version has not added a separate analytics or advertising product. Cloudflare may still process basic technical details as part of hosting, under Cloudflare’s own privacy policy (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/).
What we don’t do on Readystead
This site has no photo try-on, no size guide, and no customer photo handling. Those features exist on some other SI sites and are covered by their own privacy pages.
Shopping links and third-party cookies
Seller links open on the seller’s site. In this first version they are ordinary, unmonetized links. We do not add affiliate tags. A link may include the seller’s public product or variant identifier so you reach the item whose price we checked. “Shop at” buttons open a retailer’s public search for the product name when you choose that link; they do not include your household answers. When you leave our site, that retailer’s privacy policy, cookies, checkout, and tracking apply. We do not receive your orders or payment information. Our pages are set to avoid sending a referrer to those sites.
If we later use affiliate links, we will disclose that, and retailers or affiliate networks may then set their own cookies when you leave our site.
We don’t sell or rent your information
We don’t sell or rent your info. We share it only with the providers that run the site (Cloudflare), when the law requires, or when you choose to open a store link. We are not a data broker.
Children (COPPA) and age
These sites are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we ask how many people are in the household, that is a number only — not names or ages of children.
Texas Data Privacy and Security Act
If you are a Texas consumer, you may have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act to know, access, correct, or delete personal data we hold, and to opt out of certain processing. Because this first version keeps concierge answers in your browser and keeps almost no personal data on our servers, there is often little or nothing to delete.
